Desert Sharpshooter Full Bore League

The Desert Sharpshooter Full Bore League is a year long series of matches held at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in conjunction with our monthly Palma practices. The season runs January through December with scores from monthly matches automatically entered into the league championship.

Each match consist of 2 convertible sighters and 10 shots for record fired at 800, 900, and 1000 yards.

Competitors are squadded either 2 or 3 to a firing point – string fire is not allowed. Shooters are allotted 45 seconds per shot.

Match Format

• Distances: 800, 900, and 1000 yards

• Shots: Two convertible sighters and ten shots for record

• Squadding: 2 or 3 to a mound. String fire is not permitted.

• Target service: Electronic targets will be used configured with a 10 second delay and only shows the last shot fired.

• Target: ICFRA long range targets

• Scoring: competitors score the competitor to their left

• Category: Palma, Any-Any, F-TR, F-Open

• Shooting format: slow fire prone

• Fee: Free (you still need to pay the daily range fee)

League Championship Match

• League championship runs January through December

• Match: aggregate of top 5 Match 4 scores

• July and August matches - will discuss with participants

• September 7, 6:30 AM setup – (Saturday)

• November 2, 8:00 AM setup – (Saturday)
